At the close of each worship service, we invite people to come forward to pray, receive Christ, join our church, or do all three. During this time, worshipers who desire to join East Side may come to the front of the church where Pastor Matt is standing and connect.
As a general rule, you can unite with East Side in one of the following ways:

- By Profession of Faith: If you are not yet a Christian but would like to be, are interested in baptism by immersion as a believer, having accepted Christ as Personal Savior, it is natural to follow Him in Believer’s Baptism by full water immersion. We will be happy to schedule this at your earliest convenience.
- By Letter: Having already accepted Christ as your personal Savior, having been previously baptized by full water immersion, currently a member of a Southern Baptist Church, and desiring to unite in membership with East Side, we will take care of requesting the transfer of your membership.
- By Statement: If you have already accepted Christ as your personal Savior, have been baptized by full water immersion, are not currently a member of a Southern Baptist Church, and desire to unite in membership with East Side, you are welcome to join by statement of faith.
